First Impression
We’re excited about the new Quad Social floor plan, but before we dive into those details it’s important to note other key features that caught our eye, including the EZ Lift manual canopy system, the Clarion Gold stereo upgrade, and the back porch option that adds a 2-foot extension to the stern. The optional packages are clearly dialed in on this Monaco.
Highlights
We’ve always believed the helm chair should be the most comfortable seat on board, and in this case it truly is. The tall seat back captain’s chair slides, swivels and reclines, but what makes this layout unique on the Quad Social (QS) is there are three other helm chairs just like it. With a two-pedestal removable table in the center, the four chairs can pivot to create the ultimate social atmosphere.

Speaking of comfort, the Sahara tan two-toned furniture not only looks high-end, but is extremely comfortable as well. In the bow are two chaise lounges, and built into the back of the port side lounge is a lockable drawer insert from Boat Outfitters, a division of Teak Isle, who specializes in maximizing on board space.

At the elevated helm, the dash console is centered on a Lowrance Eagle 5 digital screen with multi-function analog gauges on each side. Below is a row of well-labeled and lighted rocker switches with access to your Clarion stereo system, too. The stereo is part of the Clarion Gold package that includes a head unit with full color LCD display, a Bluetooth/Aux input, six RGB speakers with chrome sport grilles, and a six-channel amp.

Why we love this boat…It’s considered to be a mid- to upper-level model, yet it looks and feels top-of-the-line to us. In addition to plush seating and plenty of power, we absolutely love the four helm chairs.
The back porch option could be considered a must-have since it adds an extra 2 feet and really opens up the back. The stern deck includes a black sport ski/tow cage that has been independently pull tested at over 2,000 pounds, plus a curved stainless boarding ladder that reaches deep into the water when deployed.

Other key features worth noting include the Mesa beige flooring, a gimbal mount wireless phone charger, full RGB spectrum lights, and the Midnight package that adds across-the-board black including the skirting, rub rail, rub rail insert, rails, canopy frame, and corner caps to complement the smooth Sage exterior rail skin.

Inspection
The two 27-inch diameter outer pontoons with a 29-inch diameter center tube is part of Godfrey’s iMPACT+ Tube package. There are lifting strakes on the inside of the outer tubes and on both sides of the larger center pontoon.
Just being picky…With less bench seating compared to other models, an in-floor ski locker should come standard with this Quad Social floorplan to provide more storage options.
Up top there are over 18 feet of usable deck space inside the gates and the rail height varies from 30 inches tall midship to 25 inches tall in the stern for a solid family-friendly design.
Performance
Powered by a Yamaha 250hp V6 V MAX SHO outboard and paired with the performance hull, the 25-footer reached a top speed in the mid 40s after a zero-to-20 mph time of just 4 seconds. The SeaStar power assist steering allows the boat to easily dive into sharp corners, providing an enjoyable ride to a pontoon that handles more like a V-hull.
Final Thoughts
There is considerable value on this Monaco that as tested comes in at a mid-level price point, despite all the upgraded packages and horsepower. Godfrey truly has this Monaco line dialed in.
