LS 210 Walk Thru
First Impression
The LS line is so packed with amenities, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that it comes in at an unheard of starting price in the mid $20K range. Lowe has been building top-quality boats since 1971, and its LS 210 Walk Thru is a solid 2025 offering at a price that feels like it’s from the 1970s.
Highlights
The price-friendly LS pontoon comes equipped with a modern full-height fence and black rails for a fresh exterior style. The chrome Lowe logos on the bow, port, and starboard sides are a nice added touch. The ergonomic fiberglass helm console is centered on four analog gauges with the KICKER KMC45 Bluetooth compatible stereo controls below and a couple of rocker switches. Just right of the three-spoke steering wheel is a wireless phone charger that is part of Lowe’s convenience package that includes a locking glove box and LED interior lights.

For the captain, the custom helm seat slides and reclines and it might just be the most comfortable seat on board. Of course there are three chaise lounges too, including a rear-facing one directly across from the captain and two forward-facing ones in the bow. The seating is a little firm, but we love the lumbar cutouts for the benches with cupholders and additional small storage space.

Just past the L-shaped seating area in the stern is a minimal-sized swimdeck that includes a boarding ladder and the optional stainless ski/tow bar. Other available standard features include a Bimini top and playpen cover, deluxe interior fabrics and vinyl flooring.

The Walk Thru layout creates plenty of extra space on board, so even with a maximum rating of 10 people (12 with the optional TL package) there is plenty of room for everyone so you don’t feel crowded.

Why we love this boat…The added value for a pontoon in this price range is incredible. The LS is sure to lure more people to the joys of boat ownership with a minimal financial investment.
Inspection
Below deck the two 25-inch diameter multi-chambered pontoons are the foundation with the full width cross-members being on 24-inch centers. Up top the 1 1/4-inch black painted raised rails tie in well with the Navy blue Quietride fencing. The rail height is a consistent 27 inches tall for a safe family-friendly design and from the bow gate to the rear bench there is nearly 18 feet of usable space on this 22-footer.
Performance
Powered exclusively by Mercury outboards, the 115 ELPT Command Thrust FourStroke outboard is a solid pairing for this pontoon. The zero-to-20 mph time of just over 4 seconds is quite impressive with a top speed at full throttle near the 30 mph mark. She turns flat in the sharp turns and handles well for a value-driven, two-logged pontoon. If you’re looking to add more horsepower you could opt for the Mercury 150L FourStroke, but that would require you to also add hydraulic steering and its TL package to gain a third pontoon. Even with those additions you’d still be looking at a well-priced pontoon with the maximum horsepower available for this model.
Just being picky…There is room to add a trash can on your own in the back of one of the chaise lounges, but it would be nice if one was included as a standard feature because all boats should have one.
Final Thoughts
As tested with a long list of standard features and key options, we see tremendous value with what you get from this Lowe. What it lacks in “bells and whistles” that you may see on much higher priced pontoons it more than makes up for in value. For those looking for a solid pontoon at a budget-friendly price this LS line is hard to beat.
