First Impression
If you are seeking the performance of a fiberglass deck boat that offers the space and amenities of a pontoon, stop dreaming. The FunDeck line from Hurricane delivers both, and it appeals to the boater who wants to have the best of these two worlds.
Highlights
Starting with the exterior, the combination of black rails and panels with the oceanside blue insert color creates an attractive look for this hybrid. The wide SeaView bow gate is new and complements the interior. Atlas (light) gray soft-touch vinyl with Anchor (dark) gray accents tie in perfectly with the blue exterior.

The Quad Social (QS) is one of the four new layout offerings for the FunDeck 2360 lineup in 2026 and is ideal for entertaining and socializing. What’s better than having a 26-inch-tall captain’s seat? How about three more identical ones with fold-down armrests that all swivel, slide, and recline? When rotated, all four helm chairs circle the table, creating the ultimate conversation area.

For the captain, the 7-inch Simrad touchscreen is the focal point of the dash, with two multi-function GPS gauges on each side behind the glass windscreen. Below is a section of push buttons and access to the upgraded Clarion Gold audio head unit, which controls the four 6.5-inch RMS RGB speakers. A wireless phone charger, USB port, and an RGB dial to control your lighting round out the features at the helm.

Just behind the four helm chairs towards the stern are two more bench seats before your transition to the minimal swim deck after passing through the aft gate. Here you’ll find a stainless ski/tow cage and one of the two telecoping ladders; the other is located in the bow.

The Sport Wave Bimini mimics the look of a tower, and another unique feature is the pet bowl/mat that can be placed wherever desired. The high-friction bottom with a cutout for the bowl in the mat helps reduce spills, no matter how excited your dog is to be out on the water.

Inspection
The hull design showcases Hurricane’s kinetic fluidity as the hull bottom stretches wide, with turned-down chines that extend all the way forward. Hull shapes like this are typically referred to as “cathedral” or “trihedral” hulls, and this one is well constructed. The gel coat work is consistent, and the rail height varies from over 30 inches at the bow down to 26 inches at the stern, ensuring a safe, family-friendly design.
Performance
One of the standout features of this hybrid is its smooth, comfortable ride. Powered with a Mercury 250hp V8 outboard, we recorded a zero-to-20-mph time of just over 4 seconds on our way to the mid-40 mph range at full throttle. As expected, the FunDeck effortlessly glided through the water, diving into sharp turns beautifully. Simply put, she handles like a deck boat should and provides us with a fun, enjoyable ride.
Final Thoughts
The fit and finish, along with the overall craftsmanship, are outstanding on this sporty-looking Quad Social FunDeck, which has a nice balance of standard and optional features.

Just being picky…Could use snap-in carpeting and a trash can. The one USB for the captain is good, but more ports for passengers to stay charged would be nice.
