First Impression
Wow! Most center console models are specifically designed for fishing, but this latest beauty from JC TriToon is purpose-built for all-around use and we were impressed by how many unique features are packed into the layout.
Highlights
Starting at the helm, we love the fresh look of the console that is centered on a 9-inch Garmin touchscreen with round digital gauges on each side. Below are angled rocker switches, controls to the thruster and misting systems, as well as the Fusion stereo head unit. The Mister-Comfort misting system covers the floor as well as the helm, to help cool off the deck and the air on those really hot days. The QMI Accu-Thrust thruster helps control the 26-footer in tight spaces and will help you dock like a pro with full control.

As impressive as the helm console is, it’s the surrounding inserts that utilize the space in the backs of the four chaise lounges that will steal some attention. Made by Boat Outfitters, a division of Teak Isle, the four inserts include a wine cabinet with a locking glove box and a USB, a trash insert that also has a locking glove box and another USB, a cooler insert, and the fourth being a fold out table with a slide out pet food dish on the side. Plus that’s not the only Boat Outfitters upgrade on board. There is another slide out and this one is for the Scanstrut Atmos inflater/deflater that is hidden below the stern bench. No need to pack an air pump for your water toys; the Atmos is a built-in unit with hoses and adapters that even though it’s an option, it might be considered a must-have.

Why we love this boat…The “wow factor” is extremely high on this center console beauty that is loaded with features to maximize your enjoyment on the water.

Another fun option is the SureShade Electric Power Bimini 2000 series from Lippert that is forward facing for a unique look. Plus the automotive-style 15-minute exit timer delay switch for the entire boat ensures that everything is powered off. In-floor anchor locker, saloon-style bow gates, dedicated fender storage, a tall ski/tow bar, and a stainless steel heavy-duty super ladder round out the key features.
Inspection
JC TriToon’s signature High Tide hull is an upgrade, which includes three high-volume U-shaped pontoons with lifting fins and a full-length aluminum skin. The thrusters are installed inside the port and starboard pontoons for a flush fit, with no extension below the pontoon surface to drag or hit underwater obstacles. The textured powder coated rails vary from 34 inches tall on the sides to 26 inches tall in the bow. JC has been doing this for years, but the pivoting helm cap to access all the helm wiring with ease is still worth mentioning.
Just being picky…With limited storage space below the bench seats (batteries, misting system, Atmos, etc.) a second in-floor ski locker might be nice, but the sacrifice for these amazing amenities is worth it.
Performance
It takes a high-end pontoon to get the most out of an outboard such as this Mercury 350hp Verado. With the powerful V10 we cruised to the mid 40 mph mark after a blistering zero-to-20 mph time of just 3.5 seconds. She banks beautifully in the sharp turns, handles well and is extremely fun to drive. Plus the center console perspective adds a degree of excitement to the ride.
Final Thoughts
JC TriToon is one of those manufacturers who strives to pack every square inch of its boats with cool and thoughtful features to ensure you get the most out of your time on the water. Its over-the-top approach of adding unique amenities is truly impressive.
