First Impression
Designed with enhanced performance and comfort in the mid-range segment, the M-Series continues to push the boundaries as a luxurious line capable of true customization. With a high level of fit and finish while still retaining the value of a more entry-level offering, the M-Series is quickly growing in popularity, and it’s easy to see why.
Highlights
Featuring a dynamic silhouette with its distinctive exterior swoosh signature aft rail and bow sweep, this M24 is easily recognizable as a Bennington from a distance. Stepping aboard and being welcomed by the new Luxe trim package with upgraded plush seating, crafted with five distinct foam densities, only confirms it. The premium Vento upholstery offers a high-end look, featuring a soft, yet extremely durable, vinyl that provides true ergonomic support.

At the helm is a new mapping feature on the Vivid UX system that allows you to view all your gauges and location on one screen. The Vivid UX digital dash with integrated GPS is an intuitive, easy-to-navigate display. The upgraded 12-inch version automatically switches from “running” to “float” mode when the boat stops. An intuitive “one-layer-deep” navigation and digital dash specifically built with the pontoon boater in mind offers complete and easy-to-use vessel control to any operator.

The 7-inch Vessel Control touchscreen is standard with the Luxe trim package, and it’s a welcome addition, allowing the captain to control everything from the lights and stereo to the power Bimini top with one-touch. The glass windscreen, elevated helm platform, and comfortable captain’s chair round out the highlights of the ergonomic helm.

Directly across is a multi-position swingback co-captain’s chair with self-leveling arm rests, and in front, built into the back of the port chaise lounge is the Chaise Convenience Center from Teak Isle. Not only is there a fold-out table with a storage drawer with pet dishes below, but we also discovered a slide-out trash receptacle built in.

At both bow and stern, the long benches provide plenty of seating for everyone, and we especially love the recessed cupholders and USB ports to keep your passengers charged up. The removable bow filler cushion creates a nice U-shaped seating area up front, while at the stern, you can configure the layout in multiple ways to dial in your specific needs. The series offers more than 10 different seating configurations while maintaining accessible storage in the seat bases.

Other key highlights include a large in-floor ski locker, a stainless steel aft rail with dual stern gates, extended aft deck with a LilliPad Marine boarding ladder, and a solid ski/tow bar.

Inspection
Three full-length 25-inch-diameter pontoons form the foundation of this model, with lifting strakes on both sides of the center tube and on the inside of the outer pontoons. Other undercarriage features include solid round keels and an under-deck wave shield. Up top, the 1.25-inch rails vary in height from 24 inches tall in the bow to over 26 inches tall in the stern.
Performance
Powered by a 200hp outboard from Mercury Marine, we reached a top speed near the 40 mph mark after a zero-to-20 mph time of just under 5 seconds. The torque on the 200XL is amazing. Very responsive, the 26-footer handles well and is fun to drive.
Final Thoughts
The added upgrades and options, along with the larger outboard, explain the price increase, so there is some flexibility if needed, depending on your budget. However, we love the added value of this M24 and feel as tested it has the right blend of standards and options to continue to excel in the mid-range segment of the pontoon industry.

Just being picky…We love the comfortable helm chair, but its proximity to the throttle makes it difficult to access the chair levers on the right side below.
