First Impression
The only thing that could overshadow the aggressive, sporty look of the blacked-out exterior and interior is just how well this Qwest performs. The manufacturer is introducing its A.C.T. technology for model year 2026, and it clearly grabbed our attention.
Highlights
A.C.T. stands for Advanced Center Tube. The new performance hull features a 5.25-inch deadrise between the inner and outer tubes, allowing the pontoon to bank into turns at high speeds, but we’ll get to the highlights of the performance shortly.

The all-black exterior, with integrated wall-mounted dock and navigation lights, ties in perfectly with the cool-touch black vinyl that dissipates heat faster than traditional vinyl, even on the hottest days. The red accent color completes the sporty vibe.

Below the bow bench seats are dry storage compartments to complement the traditional underseat storage, and besides all the recessed cupholders, we discovered removable stereo remotes that clip in and are found all throughout the boat.

Behind the glass windshield are dual 7-inch Garmin touchscreens featuring a custom digital switching and monitoring system, Qwest Digital Command. On one side of the Gussi leather-wrapped steering wheel is a JL Audio stereo knob and a remote, with a wireless phone charger on the opposite side.

For the captain, there is a comfy helm chair on an elevated platform, and directly behind is a narrow storage box. Speaking of extra storage, a large glove box with a storage drawer below is built into the back of the chaise lounge in the bow. For your fenders, a dedicated area that keeps your bumpers close is built into the back of the rear-facing chaise lounge across from the helm.

Just past the L-shaped seating area in the stern is a rear-facing bench on the swim deck, along with a tall stainless steel tow/bar that flows well with the stainless railing. Getting back on board from the water is simple with the Lippert boarding ladder that is also part of the stern deck.

The power Bimini, four more wireless phone chargers, and an in-floor ski locker help round out the key features.

Inspection
With the upgraded Q3X Triple Tube package featuring A.C.T. Technology, you gain a 27-inch-diameter center pontoon with 25-inch-diameter outer tubes and positive-angle lifting strakes on all three `toons. The nosecones have been reinforced, and the performance package includes a full aluminum underskin. Above deck, the rail height varies from 27 inches tall in the bow to 25 inches in the stern.
Performance
Qwest steps up its performance with its A.C.T. Technology hull, which we could instantly appreciate, especially when banking in tight turns. With the Optimus E-actuator electric steering, she turns effortlessly, and powered with a Suzuki 250hp four-stroke, we nearly reached 50 mph at full throttle, after a zero-to-20 mph time of just over 5 seconds.
Final Thoughts
The striking color scheme, with a red accent throughout the boat in the stitching, patterns, and logo, really emphasizes the blackout look. The performance impressed us, but so did the way Qwest showcases modern enhancements that seamlessly blend elegance and comfort into its M-Class line of pontoons.

Just being picky…Plenty of storage with hidden surprises, but we’d like to see a designated, easily accessible standard trash receptacle included, although it can be added as an option.
