Launched earlier this year, Revel Boats is a new brand from the Correct Craft family. The RS25 pontoon, as tested, includes distinctive standard features and valuable options to enhance your on-the-water experience. Correct Craft was founded in 1925, and its experience and knowledge of the boating industry transition nicely into this new pontoon line.

Plenty of seating, ample storage, and premium features make the RS25 a blend of comfort and excitement. The comfortable aft lounge seat comes standard with four interchangeable positions to suit any activity, from socializing to tanning, and features back-to-back bench seating when you’re close to the 15-person capacity.

Outside the stern gate is a ski/tow cage that doubles as a work of art, with its sculpted, unique design. There is plenty of space on the swim deck, including an easy-to-use boarding ladder from LilliPad Marine.

The RS25 dash features a 15-inch touchscreen, with a separate digital screen for your audio system that controls the eight JL Audio 7.7-inch M3 Series speakers. Other helm features include a wireless charger and a small cubby for storage. There are additional controls on the Power Wing behind the steering wheel for ease of use, complementing the automotive look and feel the manufacturer is going for. Below the raised helm is a foldout trash receptacle with a side-access door, which we feel every boat should have.

Across from the heated helm chair is a convertible co-captain bench seat that is ideal for both socializing and relaxing, so you can sit next to the driver for conversation or lounge out and enjoy the view. Directly in front of the first-mate bench seat is a drawer unit for additional storage, with a flat surface above for counter space and a second optional heated/chilled cupholder. Speaking of storage, there are two 22-inch-deep in-floor ski lockers, with one including a designated place for the optional teak table and the other for the optional Dometic portable fridge.

Another highlight that probably gets the most attention is the standard self-booting Bimini from Outer Armor. It deploys and stows with the push of a button on the Power Wings at the helm, and it is truly as effortless as it looks.

One of Revel’s most significant innovations is its Steptoon, engineered with the Revel Tracking System (RTS). The patent-pending Steptoon (high-performance center tube design) reduces drag, delivers higher top speeds, and improves handling at both cruising and high speeds. Revel’s RTS includes a pair of tracking fins mounted outside of the center tube that help hold the boat through turns.

There’s a little bit of weight to this model, yet with the Mercury 400 V10 Verado, we reached a top speed in the mid-50s after a zero-to-20 mph time of 6 seconds. The power over hydraulic steering helped in the flat turns.

We love testing new models, and this Revel had a lot of surprises. The manufacturer is not messing around with entry-level offerings and prefers to jump into the high-end segment with this fully loaded model. Thoughtful features such as the self-booting Bimini, cooler fridge, heated helm chair, and a 15-inch touchscreen are just a few examples of its premium amenities.
