appy April Fools’ Day everyone! Here at PDB magazine we all love a good prank and a good ol’ laugh. In fact, we just like having fun. Luckily for us, boating and fun mix well.

That’s why we thought it would be cool to round up a few fun and unusual pontoon boats to celebrate April Fools’ Day all month long. Check them out!

Sauntoon
Ever feel like relaxing in a sauna on the lake? Well, we’re pleased to introduce you to the custom-built Sauntoon II from Loonie Toons Pontoons & Powersports in Desbarats, Ontario. As the name suggests, it’s a sauna built on a triple pontoon chassis.

Now you can use your boat as a floating sauna. Loonie Toons offers this unique pontoon with a Mercury 40hp Command Thrust four-stroke outboard motor that’s more than capable of cruising around on your favorite lakes.

Loonie Toons first built the original Sauntoon five years ago and have now made the unique floating sauna, the Sauntoon II, available to buy. It’s built completely from cedar and comes equipped with a wood-burning sauna stove.

It also includes JC Manufacturing’s TriToon chassis and comes equipped with navigation lights and custom mood lighting. Plus, they can also customize the Sauntoon to fit your preferences. With this unique pontoon, the lake is even more relaxing.

Ice Cream Float
Ice Cream Float
Remember as a kid hearing the jingle of the ice cream truck and then running outside to get some ice cream? Well, get ready to take that sort of experience to a whole new level with the Ice Cream Float in Pompano Beach, Fla.

This 20-foot, hot-pink ice cream pontoon boat with a striped Bimini top navigates the lakes and canals of Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton, ready to sell ice cream, drinks, snacks and ice. Naturally, it also plays the classic ice cream truck jingle to get your attention.

The Ice Cream Float comes stocked with 24 varieties of pre-packaged treats that are common on ice cream trucks. You’ll find the perfect pick-me-up on those hot days at the lake. All you have to do is flag them down from the dock and they’ll stop so you can get a frosty treat.

You won’t want to miss the chance to snag a snack from this one-of-a-kind ice cream pontoon boat if you ever find yourself in the Pompano Beach area.

Jungle Float
Jungle Float
Next up is the Jungle Float. This essentially gives you a playground on the water, complete with trampolines, swings, slides and platforms to leap from. This pontoon boat will bring out your inner child.

On the Jungle Float, you can leap from a 12-foot platform down to an Olympic-grade trampoline to launch you as high as 20 feet above the water. If that seems a little too daring to start with, check out the Monkey Jump first, which is a 6-foot platform for leaping into the water.

Don’t forget the smaller trampoline, the Monkey Bounce, that allows you to jump more than 8 feet into the lake. There’s also a 12-foot-high dive platform, giving you plenty of options when it comes to jumping into the water.

You can also swing off the Jungle Float on the Tarzan Swing or use the Jungle Slide to find your way into the water. Whatever you choose on the Jungle Float, you’re in for a good time at the lake.
