Why we love this boat…
It’s a completely loaded deck boat with too many thoughtful amenities to list that has been designed to make your time on the water the most enjoyable possible.
Just being picky…
There is an unbelievable amount of storage space on board, yet this boat could use a specific and designated area just for a trash can to help keep the interior clean.

First Take
Talk about sensory overload… we were absolutely blown away by all the features on board this 26-footer that quite possibly has more cool amenities per square inch than any other deck boat out there. It seemed the more we looked, the more we found – and the more we found, the more we loved.
Kind Of A Big Deal
Your eye is immediately drawn to the new self-leveling power tower that includes a “speed top” mesh fabric that was designed to handle higher speeds and yet still provide coverage from the sun. The tower ties in well with the full wrap-around windshield for a symmetrical and sporty look, but it’s the helm console with two Simrad touchscreens that you’re really going to love.

Besides the dual Simrads there are lighted push buttons throughout the console, plus access to the upgraded Fusion stereo system that includes eight total speakers. There is even a wireless phone charger and cooled cup holder for the captain and the best part is the first mate has an identical setup with a second wireless charger and cooled cup holder—and the dual bucket captain’s chairs with flip-up bolsters are identical as well. The locking glove box for the co-captain is a great added touch too.

Directly across from the helm is a large head compartment, complete with an electric pump-out toilet and faucet and there is even a designated storage spot for the removable table that has three different receivers throughout the boat to position it. Speaking of storage, you won’t believe the massive aft compartment that is larger than some big city apartments. There is a designated spot for the ski/tow pylon and plenty of room for just about anything else. The aft storage is nicely hidden below the stern loungers that easily convert from forward-facing to rear-facing.

Other key features include a windlass bow anchor with a remote control located at the helm, full spectrum RGB lighting, an impressive eight USB charging ports, Marine Mat flooring, wash down and two in-floor ski lockers.

Closer Look
This proven modified V-hull provides a smooth running surface that allowed us to fly across the water. The Transverse stringer grid system is the backbone of this Hurricane deck boat and the integrated system works to control the flex in the hull and provide exceptional support.
Performance
Complete with the maximum-rated horsepower, the 2.6L Mercury 400hp outboard allowed us to reach a top speed of 55 miles per hour at full throttle. As expected, she dives beautifully into the sharp turns and handles really well. Since our test Mercury has released a new V10 version of its 400hp outboard that should improve the low-end torque and increase the top speed, making this combination even more powerful.
Final Thoughts
It can’t be understated just how versatile this SunDeck really is. From bow to stern it truly is impressive how much the engineers were able to pack into this deck boat. Plus it’s Yacht Certified with the certification by the NMMA confirming it has been manufactured to meet all ABYC standards of safety, design, and construction and it doesn’t have a set limit on the number of passengers you can have on board. Simply put, this is a well-crafted boat that happens to have a ton of amazing features.
