Hurricane’s Next Level Releases
There’s no better way to kick off our preview of the new models and significant changes that are being made heading into the 2025 year than with Hurricane. While the Indiana-based manufacturer has been dominant in the market for years – this especially is true for the state of Florida where its boats have done extremely well – no one has seen anything quite like its latest offerings.

At the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show a couple of weeks ago, Hurricane was the talk of the convention center with the release of its 24 Center Console as well as its SunDeck 3200. While the 3200 comes from the Hurricane deck boat family, it’s clearly on a whole different level. Its features go well beyond any previous Hurricane offerings, yet it still has the same high-quality vibe and those added touches consumers have come to appreciate from this manufacturer. Expect to see its dominance in the market reach a different segment with this over-the-top cabin model beauty.

The debut of its 24CC will lure anglers in faster than the baits they’re retrieving. Below the hard top is an impressive helm console that includes dual Garmin touchscreens. What sets this new Hurricane apart from similar fishing boats is the comfort and seating capacity. Hurricane managed to share its DNA, which is what makes it so attractive. Add the floorplan of this center console deck boat that is extremely comfortable yet fishable to your list of must-sees this show season. (www.hurricaneboats.com)

Barletta Upgrades Its Entire Lineup
The engineers have been busy at Barletta with new floor plans, sound systems, redesigns, added features and more. Starting at the top, its high-end Reserve line has a luxurious yet sporty helm console that will grab your attention. It blends automotive styling with marine needs for a dash unlike any other. It includes the new Simrad NSX ULTRAWIDE touchscreen with a second Simrad display for your controls. This model also has two new options for outboard power, the Mercury 500R or the Yamaha 350 engine. The Leggera line has a redesigned helm as well, along with a Harmon Kardon head unit stereo with remote and a larger 66-gallon fuel tank. Speaking of sound systems, a new JBL audio package is now available on the Lusso, Corsa, Cabrio and Aria lines with the Lusso expanding its options to include a new sport Bimini option.

With the latest Corsa models, a redesigned furniture package with soft touch vinyl is being released along with a redesigned arch with power Bimini. Vivid UX For All Benningtons
The new Vivid UX digital dash is something Bennington is really excited to be offering for the 2025 model year and it’s easy to see why. The intuitive display just might be one of the easiest to navigate and the automatic “Running” or “Float” modes is a nice exclusive touch as well. When running you have a different set of gauges on display but as soon as you stop, the digital dash automatically switches to float mode with a different set of gauges.

The all-new Vivid UX comes standard on the majority of the pontoons Bennington offers including the new M-series, but even on its lower priced models it’s available as an option. So any new Bennington is capable of having this amazing display. (www.benningtonmarine.com)

JC TriToon Teams Up With VOKOL
For some consumers they’d give up their steering wheel before going without music on their pontoon. For those extreme stereo enthusiasts, JC TriToon has news that will be music to your ears. You may have seen pontoons with an impressive number of speakers before, but there has never been anything quite like what this Indiana-based manufacturer is offering for the new model year.

The VOKOL Sound Immersion system is an option on select JC models. Over 20 years ago, JC TriToon first teamed up with VOKOL Acoustics to release a sound system that had never been seen or heard before in the pontoon segment. At that time it was truly a game changer for the industry and for the past two years the two have been at it again, working on an innovative system to take pontoon audio to whole new levels.

The optional VSI package incorporates the six standard 8.8-inch speakers and adds 24 more speakers, plus tower speakers for a “helmet of sound” effect to the pontoon. In eight locations throughout the boat, three 5.25-inch speakers plus a separate tweeter are stacked vertically and positioned so the sound can’t be blocked by ankles, bodies or even coolers.
