a 32-ounce container of Glidecoat Hydrophobic Spray & Rinse
Super Spray
Hydrophobic Spray & Rinse works on virtually all solid marine surfaces including paint, gelcoat, vinyl, glass and metal. Attached to a garden hose, it’s fast and easy to create a durable, glossy coating that beads water to protect against spotting for up to three months.

Perfect for ongoing Glidecoat Ceramic Coating maintenance, it’s equally effective on untreated areas as well. Because buffing and rubbing aren’t required, it’s simple to protect glass and similar clear flexible sheeting. A 32-ounce container of Glidecoat Hydrophobic Spray & Rinse covers 400 to 500 square feet—enough for a 24- to 26-foot—and costs $34.95, while a gallon retails for $119.95 and treats 1,600 to 2,000 square feet. a Ridge Ready Monkey Bar kit; a Ridge Ready Monkey Bar affixed to a car roof
Crossbars For Roof Ridges
While a pontoon or deck boat might be our primary boat of choice, kayaks, SUPs, and other smaller craft have their place when heading to the water. The ridged roofs on top of our tow vehicles can make it difficult to add crossbars but this is where SeaSucker comes in with its Ridge Ready Monkey Bars. They’re so innovative, SEMA (the Specialty Equipment Market Association) honored them with two Best New Product awards at its recent show as well as a Show Stopper Award from Diesel Tech magazine.

Made in the USA, Ridge Ready Monkey Bars use SeaSucker’s Vacuum Mount technology. Unlike industrial suction cups that lose their seals soon after they’re applied, the four front and two rear 3.25-inch oval mounts combine for a total holding power of 990 pounds at highway speeds. This unique shape is specifically designed to fit between the roof ridges common to trucks and many sport utility vehicles.

The Vacuum Mounts attach to 48- or 60-inch black powder-coated aluminum crossbars via solid marine-grade HDPE polymer and stainless steel hardware. To accommodate various vehicle sizes, the assemblies can be moved to any position to ensure a perfect fit. The bars unscrew to make it easy to store them when not in use.

Installing SeaSucker Ridge Ready Monkey Bars is easy. Placed on any clean, non-porous surface such as paint or fiberglass, the integrated pump on each Vacuum Mount is pushed until the orange indicator band disappears. Mounts can hold for days; should the band reappear, a few quick presses will recharge the holding power. When it’s time to remove the bars, the T-shaped tab is lifted to break the seal.

SeaSucker Ridge Ready Monkey Bars come with a spare vacuum pump and a 5gm container of maintenance lubricant. (www.seasucker.com)
